Five Fridays, Five Formats
July is packed with Friday Night Magic, and we’ve built a schedule with something for every kind of deck. Whether your binder is full of budget Pauper staples or high-powered Modern threats, there’s a week with your name on it.
The Lineup
Things kick off on July 3rd with Pauper, the format built entirely around commons — proof that you don’t need rares to compete. The following week, July 10th shifts gears into Modern, where powerful strategies and fast, competitive games take center stage.
Midway through the month, July 17th breaks from the usual one-on-one format for Two-Headed Giant. Team up with a partner, combine life totals, and coordinate attacks against another duo for a refreshingly chaotic change of pace.
From there, July 24th brings Modern back for round two, giving players another shot to refine their list or try something new. Finally, the month wraps up on July 31st with Draft, where everyone opens fresh packs and builds a deck on the spot — a great way to close out the month with a level playing field.
